RVBedScout / privacy
Your measurements, shared links and privacy choices.
The workbench calculates its shortlist in your browser. You can use it without allowing Google Analytics. Sharing a workbench URL reveals the conditions contained in that link to anyone who receives it.

Browser storage and your choice
We use browser local storage to remember whether you allow or decline analytics. The comparison list is not automatically saved as a persistent cross-session profile; a shared URL is the way to restore its included conditions.
The Google tag loads only after you choose to allow analytics, and does not load on preview builds. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your decision. Declining analytics leaves the measurement and comparison features available. Clearing site storage or changing browsers can cause the choice to appear again.
Optional Google Analytics
When analytics is configured and you allow it, we use Google Analytics to understand page use and a small set of workbench actions: starting, generating results, opening a policy, adding a comparison and following a supplier link.
Our custom event fields use public configuration or supplier IDs, core-size categories and result-group counts. They do not send your custom width, length, weight limit or free-text entries. Page locations sent by our analytics code omit query parameters and fragments; referrer URLs omit query parameters.
Google may process cookies, online or device identifiers and network information when the tag is enabled. We do not describe this as completely anonymous. We do not set a user ID, enable Google signals or use ad personalisation in this implementation. Withdrawing consent stops future site analytics collection; it does not erase data already processed by Google.
Hosting and supplier websites
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. Providing that service may involve processing request information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser or network information. Rejecting Google Analytics does not prevent the hosting provider from handling the request needed to deliver a page.
Following a supplier link leaves RVBedScout. The seller handles its own website, transactions, cookies and privacy practices. This notice describes our site rather than the seller's checkout.
