FOR LIFE ON THE ROAD

SIZE MAP / MEASURE BEFORE YOU BUY

A size name is the start.
Inches settle the comparison.

RV mattresses have no single universal size list. Our October 8, 2026 research recorded 40 rectangular dimensions, including two supported only by brand guides. Different lengths, shapes and bed mechanisms need their own checks.

Start with a checked size

Names overlap; measurements do not.

Short Queen can mean 60 × 74 or 60 × 75 inches. RV King appears at several widths and lengths. Use a name to find a starting point, then compare the actual published dimensions with your usable platform and clearance.

Measure the narrowest usable width and length, record corners or cuts, and check total height, access and moving parts. Manufacturer tolerances can be large enough to matter.

The full research dimension map

These are observations from a research sample, not a count of all market sizes, in-stock SKUs or guaranteed fits. The workbench can open every row, but only checked configurations are placed in its primary comparison.

For bunks, folding beds and custom outlines

A rectangular dimension cannot describe a cut corner, curve, hinge, fold or Murphy-bed mechanism. Keep a sketch and the manufacturer's requirements with your measurements. The workbench marks those conditions for confirmation rather than declaring an automatic fit.

If a dimension has no checked configuration, that is a research gap. Ask a custom supplier about the exact outline, height, support and return terms before ordering.
