Confirm which Short Queen you measured

Lippert's RV size guide describes Short Queen as 60 × 75, while RV Mattress's directory uses 60 × 74. Neither label should replace measuring your platform and the space around it.

Record the unit before entering numbers. A 60 × 75-inch rectangle converts to 152.4 × 190.5 cm. Conversion changes the unit, not the supplier's tolerance, the bed's support requirements or the clearance needed for movement.

A topper uses the same clearance budget

This size has thin foam and thicker constructions in the research. A model's size list and thickness list are not proof that every combination is sold. Compare only the specific combinations the supplier supports.

Use the maximum thickness your bed setup actually allows. A comfortable-looking option can still interfere with a cabinet, retaining strap or storage position. Measure the setup in each position in which the mattress must remain installed.

For a lift-up storage bed, compare documented net mattress weight with the mechanism's limit. A thicker mattress is not automatically too heavy, and a foam mattress is not automatically light enough. Where the selected configuration has no net-weight evidence, keep the result as needing confirmation.
